Courses
Vidya Deep College is a nodal center for Brothers in India – A center for seminars, study groups, special courses, meetings of Brothers, NARBI activities and publications, spirituality and vocation promotion: in short, a center for the promotion of Brotherhood in Indian Church.
Initially the Institute was primarily meant for the on-going formation of Religious Brothers. But taking into consideration the common nature of the religious commitment and apostolate, a limited number of Religious Sisters are also given admission. Generally, candidates should be between 25 and 35 years of age. However, this requirement can be relaxed in certain cases.
To enable the students to theologize and to articulate theologically their unique vocation to religious Brotherhood/Sisterhood. To develop in the students the capacity to theologize in the socio-economic, politico-cultural context of the Indian reality.
To pioneer the study towards scientific re-interpretation of both the history and the theology of religious life in the light of the faith consciousness of the Brothers/Sisters through scientific study, writing, publication and other activities.

Continuing Education is offered at Catholic Theological Union to enhance understanding of the Catholic faith, to further professional development or to prepare for transition to a new ministry.
LRS Degree Course
Research in Religious Sciences
This interdisciplinary program pursues religious studies in relation to the physical, biological, medical, and psychological sciences. Students will develop skills in relevant scientific methods and gain knowledge in the history and philosophy of science and the philosophy of religion.
